We are proud to announce that the release of the CWTS Leiden Ranking 2016 will take place on Wednesday May 18 at 11h GMT. The motto of the 2016 edition of the CWTS Leiden Ranking will be Moving beyond just ranking. Compared with earlier editions of the ranking, there will be no significant methodological changes, but there will be a significantly revised and improved website. In addition, the 2016 edition of the CWTS Leiden Ranking will offer a modest expansion of the number of universities included in the ranking.
We also would like to draw your attention to a webinar about the CWTS Leiden Ranking 2016 organized jointly by CWTS and Thomson Reuters. The webinar will take place on Thursday May 19. Speakers will be prof. Paul Wouters, director of CWTS, and dr. Ludo Waltman, coordinator of the CWTS Leiden Ranking. More information about the webinar is available here.
