I am a Marie Curie Research Fellow at the Centre for Science and Technology Studies (CWTS), Leiden University. At CWTS I am affiliated with the FluidKnowledge team with my own research project OceanVisions, funded by a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions’ grant. In OceanVisions I analyse the difference in visual data production between public and private oceanographic vessels and their impact on ocean sciences research processes. In my previous research, I explored the role of various materialities and technologies in the governance of diverse societal and political processes, from urban security practices to environmental policymaking. In 2019 I received my PhD from the University of Amsterdam and, afterwards, I joined Linköping University (Sweden) as a postdoctoral researcher. Since March 2022, I am also assistant professor of Geography at Radboud University (the Netherlands).
